Writers Wanted: Social Media B2B Contributors
During my years of observing social media discussions across all communities, the discussions normally focus on social media as it relates to general consumers. Their is an obvious reason that the conversation has centered primarily around them, but I would like to see a discussion grow around the use of social media and B2B organization.
In February I will launching a site that is dedicated to the discussion of Social Media’s impact on B2B companies. I hope this to be a true team effort, because I will be the first to admit I have a lot to learn about social media’s use by B2B organizations.
So what is it going to be about? Many things really. Topics of posts could include:
- Building B2B communities using social media
- Social media’s role in the B2B sales force
- Can integrating social media improve B2B customer service?
- Is it possible to reach B2B customers using social media?
- The role of reputation management and monitoring for B2B companies
These are only sample topics that the site will cover, but they should give you an idea of the type of content and conversations I hope it will generate. I am also very interested in hearing from companies who my have case studies on these subjects to be included as part of the site.
The site will be a blog format structured in the form of Social Media Today, Read Write Web, and others. Meaning it will have regular staff bloggers who have their own login and will submit posts on an ongoing basis. Additionally we will also have guest contributors who will submit one-time articles about a given subject.
I already have a couple of staff bloggers signed up to contribute, but I am looking for more as well as guest contributors. All authors will receive full credit and links.
Well That is my pitch. I hope that you will want to contribute to the site even if it is only one article. If you do please e-mail me: kipp.bodnarATgmailDOTcom
Note: Currently no advertising will be placed on the site and no fees will be paid for postings. This is project about getting the conversation started and then we will reevaluate any potential revenue sharing.
