I Have A Strong Hunch About A New Startup

Hunch is a new start up that launched at the end of last week, that has been getting a lot of attention. Hunch is all about helping people make decisions. After using the site for about 24 hours, I am pretty blown away by its simplicity and relevancy. I have my complete thoughts and walk through in the video below.

I’m actually bearish on Hunch. That is, for its potential to make it really big. Why? It stands in between people. I think "AI" could have its use in making better decisions, but then only as a way to connecting you faster with subject matter experts who are willing to help. I much rather get my advice from a human than from a computer. Also, I think lots of people are willing to give advice, if the question can be easily answered by them.

But then, maybe Hunch will change into that. The idea of applying more AI in typical processes is a good one.
